About Dr. Hope

Hello, I’m Hope M. Matee, As the owner of Hope At Home nurturing home care, a non-medical home care agency specializing in companion care and personal care services, I’m proud to lead a team that treats each client like a cherished family member, honoring and respecting their preferences, routines, and dignity. Our team is made up of trained, compassionate, and dependable care providers who enable individuals to enjoy their highest quality of life in their own homes.

My background in nutrition guides me in understanding the crucial role that diet, lifestyle, and proper meal planning can play in preserving health and independence for seniors and other vulnerable individuals.

When I’m not making a difference in health care, I love to travel and explore the rich diversity of our world. Having visited several countries, I’m passionate about experiencing different cultures, cuisines, and traditions, and I speak multiple languages, which helps me connect more profoundly with people from all walks of life.

Credentials

I'm a Clinical Scientist, passionate about turning laboratory innovations into real-world health solutions. Holding a PhD, a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) degree, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to my work, blending scientific expertise with a deep understanding of population health. My aim is to contribute to improving patient outcomes, strengthening health care delivery, and advancing disease prevention through a combination of rigorous research, diagnostics, and education. I am a health care entrepreneur, passionate caregiver, and citizen of the world.

With a PhD in research, a Master of Public Health (MPH), a Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS), and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, I bring a strong scientific background, a population health perspective, and a holistic view of care delivery. My 15 years of clinical research experience ignited a deep understanding of health care delivery, while my 13 years in home care services fostered a passion for delivering compassion, dignity, and independence directly to the people who need it most.

In addition to leading Hope At Home, I proudly serve as a Board Member for a Health and Educational Facilities with Washington County, Johnson City TN. This role allows me to advocate for high-quality care environments and support policies that enhance both community health and education. My board experience enriches the mission of Hope At Home by bringing strategic insight, regulatory awareness, and a commitment to excellence in service delivery—ensuring that every client receives care grounded in dignity, compassion, and best practices.
